Q&A
Does it affect my battery range?
- The GTV enables you to ride much more aggresively, however, if you test the crusing range, the change in range is barely noticeable.
Actually the GTV uses a more efficient power stage than stock(lower Rdson, less heat), under the same riding style, the range will not be affected.
Does it affect my battery life?
- The GTV's power draw is within the limitation of the battery pack's performance. And the battery pack will work in very comfortable range in most of the time.
My GT doesnt power on, can I use the GTV kit?
- Yes, as long as your battery pack is healthy, you can test your battery pack with a multimeter, it must have more than 45V.
Can I use my original light bars?
- Nope, we supply our own lightbars included in the kit.
Can I use my GT's stock bms?
- Yes, it will need some modification to solder a thick wire to bypass bms, we recommend you to just use the BMS we provided.
My GT has a aftermarket battery pack, can I use the GTV?
-Yes, as long as your aftermarket battery pack works on the original BMS, it will work with the GTV.
Is the BMS smart? Can I monitor my cell level?
-Nope, it is a charge only BMS, it does a good job balance and charge your battery safely, it also has individual cell balancing indicator, if the light shows blue, that means that group of cell is balancing itself.

Dyno research data
Here are all the dyno results, in the chart all boards were tested under the magbrake at 1.75w pushing the friction plate, the GT however would shut off mid test under 1.75w load(over current fault), I switched to 1.5w in order to get the stock GT to finish the dyno test. you can see the GTV Kit really takes all the potential out of the hypercore motor, at the maximum output, the magnet inside is saturated, meaning that no matter how u increase the input current, the motor will not give you more power, Just heat. in the GTS motor, the higher grade magnet(N52curved) make the saturation point 25.8% higher than the GT motor.which is close to theory values between n42 and n52 magnets. But it is still a small motor core, its maximum potential is capped in 5352w,the Adv is still 27.4% more powerful than the GTS motor due to the sheer size of the cannoncore motor. however I do not recommend that you get a 850$ GTS motor, That's purely stupid, just because the 6.5 inch hub rides horrible! Instead, if you want that GTS motor performance, you should get a TFL mte hub N52, or get a billet N52. Those 5 inch hubs are 100x better than the stupid 6.5inch, difference in handling is day and night. all in all with this 499$ upgrade you dont need the GTS at all, GTV offers same experience, if u have a GT with good motor and battery, GTS is pointless really
