Q&A

Does it affect my battery range?

- The PintV enables you to ride much more aggresively, however, if you test the crusing range, the change in range is barely noticeable.

   Actually the PintV uses a more efficient power stage than stock(lower Rdson, less heat), under  the same riding style, the range will not be affected.

Does it affect my battery life?

- The PintV's power draw is within the limitation of the battery pack's performance. 

My Pint doesnt power on, can I use the PintV kit? 

- Yes, as long as your battery pack is healthy, you can test your battery pack with a multimeter, it must have more than 37.5V.

Can I use my original light bars?

- Nope, we supply our own lightbars included in the kit.

Can I use my Pint's stock bms?

- Yes, it will need some modification to solder a thick wire to bypass bms, we recommend you to just use the BMS we provided.

My Pint has a aftermarket battery pack, can I use the PintV?

-Yes, as long as your aftermarket battery pack works on the original BMS, it will work with the PintV.

 -CHI BATTERY QUART IS SUPPORTED

-Quart p42a will be limited to 3780w while the Quart 50S will be limited to 3465w.

Is the BMS smart? Can I monitor my cell level?

-Nope, it is a charge only BMS, it does a good job balance and charge your battery safely, it also has individual cell balancing indicator, if the light shows blue, that means that group of cell is balancing itself. 

We will sell a 84V battery module to take the PintV even further in 2025Q2, stay tuned!
